Many comic book sellers love it when a new comic book movie is about to come out on the big screen. It usually drives the price of all related comic books sky high. The key to making a good profit on these comic books is to sell them before the movie is actually released. For example if you look at the Incredible Hulk movie of 2003. Before the release The incredible Hulk comic books sold 5 to 10 times book value. After the movie was released prices dropped back to normal because many comic book fans thought the movie stunk. Now look forward to the recent Marvel Iron Man movie. The Iron Man comic books were selling higher than book value before the movie and with the great success of the Iron Man movie the comic books are still selling at top dollar. So if you really want to play it safe keep an eye out for what comic book movie is in development and start selling those books right away. If you take the chance to wait till after the movie it may bomb or the market my be saturated with the books you want to sell.
